Great Girly Girl Personalized Stationary

Do you love girly girl stationary designs as much as I do? I truly do love this stuff and in my spare time I’m a nut about everything from kitchen utensils to my personalized stationary! Now I love these Periwinkle notepads so badly I guess one could say I’m addicted to them! I have these three styles here (show in the picture) and got them in my one of my favorite fonts “Girls are Weird” or “Weird Girls” whichever you call it! I see they have several new things since I bought these too like this Mon Petit Chou notepad series that looks absolutely YUMMY! My favorites though are these pictured. The Periwinkle Embroidery Notepad , Periwinkle Sweethearts Notepad and the Periwinkle Centerstage Notepad. <----that's me right? Centerstage? What a hoot!

You know I probably shouldn’t act like the only thing you can get at The Paper Post is notepads though because they really do have TONS of all sorts of personalized stationary and there are lots of things there I would really like to have but ALAS I’m not rich SO I can only afford so much at one time!

Comcast changes Pop 3 mail settings…

AND they don’t even tell you!

IF you have recently been one of the people that Comcast switched to their new “Smart Zone” email and your mail stopped being able to be downloaded into your Outlook Express or whatever mail program you normally use BUT YET it IS online in your Comcast Smart Zone email folder (and you get NO error messages!) …I think I can save you phone bashing time with Comcast technical support!

Comcast went and changed it’s Pop3 settings from mail.comcast.net to sz-pop.mail.comcast.net and worse…didn’t tell YOU OR their own technical support about it! (at least the one that I spent all that time on the phone with anyway).

  1. What you need to do is open your Outlook Express (sorry if you are not in Outlook Express) and go to Tools on the menubar.
  2. Click Accounts.
  3. Click the Mail tab and then choose your mailbox by highlighting it.
  4. Click Properties on the right hand side.
  5. Click the Servers tab and change your Incoming Mail Pop3 from mail.comcast.net to sz-pop.mail.comcast.net.
  6. Bingo! That should do it! If not sorry …. guess you are going to have to call them afterall :(

Note: If you’ve not been changed to the new Smart Zone Comcast mail yet then your Pop3 should still be mail.comcast.net.

Pepper Spray Website

We recently launched a re-design of our client ubackoff.com.  Their old site was about 3 years old and horribly outdated!

I actually use their pepper spray products myself when I go out walking!  Seriously, you would be amazed how much safer I feel.  I have two different kinds.  I got the pepper spray keychain for “human” protection and the pepper spray/dog repellant for this huge black dog that almost attacked my son on our evening walk!
Anyway, this is suppose to be about the new website design and not about his pepper spray products!
This new design is more clean and actually is using our MDcms Ecommerce Store software so that the company is able to easily manage their products and pages themselves.
The software gives them access to the meta data also so they will have an easier time optimizing each of their products.  I look forward to seeing what they are able to do for the store in the future.
