We just got through launching American Basement Solutions and after working with them on this site I know exactly who I would refer to anybody having a crawlspace, basement or foundation need That’s just one of those things you reach for the phone book or search online for and hope you get the right company isn’t it?

You won’t have to wonder if you go to them for your needs because I can tell you from working with them that they have integrity and are really easy people to deal with. Not just that of course they really do know what they are doing and that helps doesn’t it? *wink*

I actually learned alot about this subject while building this website. Of course that’s one of the things I love so much about my job!

Hey…if you need this service make sure you choose them…they have locations in Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio and Tennessee! Tell them Mary sent ya LOL…I don’t get anything out of it but I think it would be cool if they got a client because of this post

For those of you (like me) who THINK that you are really getting a sugar free product…think again…not if they put the “carmel drizzle” into the mix which of course is what makes it a “Carmel” Macchiato! Thank goodness this is just an every other month or so extravaganza for me! The “Non Fat Yogurt” episode of Seinfeld (Season 5, Episode 7) comes to mind! Remember, that episode? Hilarious…Kramer invests in the Non Fat Yogurt store that Jerry and Elaine go crazy eating because it’s no fat right? They start gaining weight and it turns out the yogurt really isn’t? It’s ONLY FUNNY if it’s happening to Jerry & Elaine LOL

The “Fat Free Sugar Free Carmel Macchiato” actually has 12 grams of sugar in it because of the drizzle. Hmmm that isn’t “sugar free” at all then is it? I got this from the Starbucks lady today! How many Starbucks people never told me this? I was at the Kroger shopping and I spied the Starbucks and thought to myself “you don’t do this often and it will make your miserable shopping trip more enjoyable”. I actually had a 5 spot on me and so I step up to the counter and feeling pretty guiltless I announce to the lady that I wish to have a “Grande Fat Free Sugar Free Carmel Macchiato”. She looks at me as if I’m really bothering her (which annoys me slightly)and asks me “do you want the drizzle?” Drizzle? What is “the drizzle”? I don’t make Carmel Macchiato’s for a living so I don’t know what goes in the cup? I just know I love it and it tastes good! Shoot they always give it too me with a lid on it…I wasn’t even aware there was a “drizzle” LOL. I could probably guess that carmel is in it somewhere but to my thinking it must be “sugar free” whatever it is. To my question she says “Ya, the CARMEL drizzle (like I’m an idiot) …do you want it?” Now of course I think this is a pretty stupid question UNLESS… I looked at her and a little skeptically ask… “is it sugar free?” Again with “the look”, she answers me…NO! OMG what if I was a diabetic? OK now I usually try to be nice to people and it’s becoming increasingly hard to not give her the rolling eyes conversation and show her just how sarcastic and bitchy I can also be but instead I politely decline “the drizzle”. That’s when she point blank tells me in the future then what I want to order is a “Grande Skinny Vanilla Latte”. So…if you think (like me) that a Grande Fat Free Sugar Free Carmel Macchiato is actually a sugar free product…think again! Not only is it NOT…it doesn’t even exist!

Well it’s that time! I’ve had my (first generation) iPhone for well over a year and the headset that came with it was in bad shape…time to replace it! I was stalled into putting this off for a few more months by the price of doing this and being a bit scared off by some of the reviews I read on apple’s website! If I’m going to spend over a $100 for a headset (I’m sure because of the mic) then by George it better be commanding higher stars than a solid 3! To me that’s just a bit risky so why not just get the kind that came with the iPhone for only $30 right? OK so I bit the bullet! My birthday was coming up so I decided on a 3.5 star and $50 less for these Sennheiser MM50′s and I’m THRILLED that I did it!

STUPENDOUS! I hear a lot more details in my music than I ever did before! Yes my friend, that extra $70 really is worth it! Now normally I have my volume all the way up and I SWEAR that the people in the room with me can hear the music better than me LOL. I’m serious my family always knew what I was listening to and would get annoyed that they had to also hear my music while I thought it was just “OK”. I get these baby’s and stick them on and of course my volume was all the way up so that I could hear and this about blew my head off! I very quickly took the volume down…way down. See this picture? If your volume is louder than this then you have a serious hearing problem because this is plenty loud. Another thing I noticed is that I can no longer hear ANYTHING except the music which is great but also not so great because I think you could get hit by a bus or something if you aren’t careful! Seriously, I think it’s a great value though. The sound when talking on the phone is much much better too. I’ll tell you this though…if you actually WANT to hear the words coming out of the mouths of the people around you when you are listening to your music or talking on the phone…you won’t enjoy this headset. For those interested I also did a “sound check” with my family and went into where they were with the volume up to about mid way which is really loud and asked them what I was listening to. My hubby said … I can’t make it out…I know your listening to something though! Fantastic…much much better!

First…it’s downright embarrassing how long it’s been since I posted something to this blog! It’s not for lack of desire but more like I don’t have time to get here to post! That’s a good thing right? I apologize anyway!

That being said I wanted to stop in and tell you about a Greenwood Indiana Consignment Shop where they have the best stuff! No junk here and I’m not just saying that because they are my client but because I actually shop there myself and it’s my most favorite place to buy clothes and accessories. I’m serious as a heart attack I have gotten the most excellent clothes from here…stuff that I could not have ever gotten brand new! It all looks brand new though because Selective Seconds doesn’t deal in junk! They really are selective about what they put on their floor so you don’t have to sort through a bunch of junk!

I’ve not shopped for clothing anywhere since I discovered this place! What is the point? I can get such great stuff here for a mere fraction of the cost it would take me to buy something new! I’m not just talking clothes either…jewelry, purses, shoes, etc… The owner is constantly running specials too so if you sign up for the newsletter at the website you can save even more!

Check it out! They are located right in the plaza next to the National City Bank on Meridian (135) just south of County Line Road! You know where the Four Seasons Restaurant is? It’s in that same plaza!
