I love what Pastor Andy Robbins had to say about the website we launched for their church group!

“Just wanted to say how pleased I am with the site. One word seems to come up consistently whenever I hear feedback on the site, and that word is “awesome!” You did a great job, and I am pleased and impressed not only with your skills, but also in your close and detailed communication, and your professionalism.”

I love the richness of the website and like all design that I do when inspired by the Lord…it holds a special spot in my heart. You can visit this website at Blessed Life Fellowship.

Please join me in congratulating Prowler Industries on their new website! Prowler doesn’t just specialize in rubber tracks and pads for compact truck loaders, mini excavators, and other over the tire track (OTT) systems – they lead the market.

What makes the Prowler website especially wonderful is that we once again got the chance to flex our industrial web design muscles… I love it when I get to show that MaryDesigns (because of our own design) isn’t just “girly girl web design,” or “colorful web design” – we can work in just about any industry and knock it out of the park.

The folks at Prowler love their new site, which features a new search engine friendly CSS layout and better usability. This American, family-owned business only sells the best to their clients, and it was a pleasure working with them.

So once again, join me in congratulating Prowler and wishing them the very best with their new site. And keep on the lookout for their upcoming sister site, Rubbertrack.com, which is set to be finished and released in a few months

I think that famous saying could be my thought for the week. That’s because, for the second time in just a few days, I’m excited to announce the successful completion and launch of a MaryDesigns website for a previous client. This time, it’s Christian Connection entertainment that’s making headlines.

Their site, which went live today at www.mychristianconnection.com, combines affordable food with out-of-this world Christian musical entertainment for believers in North Carolina. With live gospel, Christian comedy, karaoke, bible trivia, and even faith-based fundraising available, it’s no wonder Alan Bell (a blessing as both a client and a friend in his own right) has such big plans for the group. By combining his faith and energy with business savvy and entertainment know-how, he’s created something that’s going to be a unique experience on the Atlantic coast – I only wish I lived closer!

As a design project, Alan’s Christian Connection site was just as much fun as he is. It wasn’t easy to bring out the good-time atmosphere and tasty creations he’s known for, but the result is a high-energy layout that lets visitors know they’re in for a good time… not to mention an inspirational message. We’ve always been proud of our MaryDesigns Christian web design, and we’ll definitely be showing this one off for a while.

All of my gratitude and best wishes have to go to Alan as his site goes live. If it’s only half the hit he is, then we’ll be seeing a lot more of him soon.

It really must be getting to be Spring after all, because brand new websites are popping up all over the place – and in this case, a green one!

It was a little over a year ago when one of my favorite fun clients, Karyl Traeger, closed the doors on her charming Lafayette shop, The Green Door. As sorry as I was to see the store go away, losing such a fun customer made it even worse. So it was with a great deal of excitement that I began work on a new site for Karyl recently…

I’m pleased to announce the launch of MarthaRose Gifts & Interiors! Located virtually at www.martha-rose.com, and in Delphi, Indiana (20 minutes from her previous location) in the real world, this shop will be the perfect stop for unique merchandise and the finest home accessories you can find anywhere. The brick and mortar store officially opens mid-May.

As excited as I am about every site that goes live, I have to agree with Karyl that this one is a home run. By combining the upbeat nature of her personality with the high-class products her store offers, we came up with a design that Karyl loves and feels is off the chart! Of course, if you’re in the market for a quality web design for your small business, in Indiana or beyond, I hope you’ll contact us today.

Once more, please join me in welcoming Karyl and MarthaRose back to the world wide web! It’s always a pleasure working with her, and I know her newest venture is going to be a big hit!

Ketchup never looks good on your scrubs, but when you’re shoveling fries into your mouth four at a time, those are the risks you take. In fact, I’m a lot more worried about choking… literally and figuratively. That’s because I’ve got just a few moments before I need to rush back to my department and renew my CPR certifications. Shouldn’t I have taken care of that weeks, or even months ago? Probably, but somewhere between 12 hour days and helping to save lives, I guess I didn’t manage to fit into the available testing time slots.

As the last of the fries makes their way into my mouth, I start to mouth a silent prayer – I need those credits and don’t want to lose my job just because I was too busy doing it…

And then, the phone snaps me back into reality, and away from my flashback. I answer it, but not before smiling to myself ever so slightly. Designing and coding websites as the owner of MaryDesigns might not always be easy, but it beats the stress of keeping up with continuing education in the medical field. After more than a dozen years as an X-ray technician, I remember vividly how hard it could be to find the time to stay current.
Maybe that’s why I’m especially proud to announce that one of my latest clients, The CPR Solution, have launched their website today. This company is truly a lifesaver in every sense of the word – they’re the CPR solution for healthcare providers – making it possible for everyone to learn CPR, not just doctors, nurses, and other medical professionals.

I hope you’ll join me in congratulating The CPR Solution and check out their website at www.thecprsolution.com.

AFTER MaryDesigns Screenshot

I’m excited to tell you all that one of my clients, Brooke Richards, has just launched her new site today at: www.midwestsunkissed.com. Her company, Midwest SunKissed, sells hair and skin care products online. But don’t think this is just another stop for lotions and shampoos – these are all products that Brooke discovered (and started using herself) on her travels throughout Hawaii and the world.

As exciting as it was getting to know Brooke – a beauty products expert who spent years circling the globe as a flight attendant – I had even more fun working on her site. That’s because her company has a fun, retro look combined with a simple mission, and a quality set of products. And besides, how could I not enjoy thinking about the beach?

BEFORE MaryDesigns - Site from previous web designer

It was a great project from a marketing and web design perspective, too. The challenge was to take her existing “unpublished” website, which you could call “second class at best,” (Before Screenshot to left) and upgrade it into something that would be as much fun to use online as it was to work with off-line. The first step was to rework the logo since her existing designer created one that was a raster image found through Google Images. Tsk Tsk

After that I was able to design a one of a kind unique retro layout to match and then got deep into the code, changing out the old images and tables with a fresh cascading style sheet (CSS) layout. While some of my readers and clients might not care for the ins and outs of the technical details, the important point is that change will allow Brooke’s site to load correctly every time, regardless of what kind of browser or computer system her shoppers are using. It also makes the whole thing much friendlier for search engines.

I can’t say enough good things about Brooke and Midwest SunKissed. I hope you’ll all take a moment to check out her new site, as well as her great products. I also want to thank her for the kind words she had for MaryDesigns:

“We discovered MaryDesigns while surfing the net for a fresh, new web designer. They ended up being the first and last stop in our search. She incorporated everything that we asked for and more. We cannot explain how relieved we became when we finally found a designer that delivered exactly what we were looking for: great communication, detailed information, and follow up.”

Of course, the end of Brooke’s site design – at least for now – means we now have more time to take on a new project. Could your website use a fresh coat of paint, better functionality, or more search engine visibility? Submit to us for a free web quote or give me a call today at 317–489–3783 (toll free 866-298-2879) and let’s talk about what I can do for you.

Their brand new site will allow them to sell dog products, cat products, or equine products.

Their website features a colorful layout, which makes use of the vibrant colors in their already existing logo. When I saw it, I just knew we had to let our crayons off the leash and allow their personality to jump right off the screen. Like bringing home a new puppy, it was love at first sight!

Don’t think it’s all about the look, though. In addition to well stocked product pages, the new site features our sturdy CMS eCommerce system – ensuring that Hoof n Paw will never have a problem updating their own products, prices, and availability.

We’ve had the opportunity to design and publish several pet-related sites in the past through our sub-site Glitzy Fritzy, but none that have featured equine web design. That made this website good fun, especially since the horse in the banner is the owner’s actual horse.

Let me also take the opportunity to invite you to get in touch with us today and find out what we can do for your business. Is your company doing as well online as it could be? If you suspect that your Internet marketing efforts could be yielding better results, or you’re ready to find out why so many of your competitors are cashing in with improved search engine visibility, an advanced content management system, or just a fresher look, then why not get a free consultation? We didn’t become a popular Indianapolis web design company by accident, and we’d love to show you some customized web solutions.

Tanzania Safari Specialists “Superb Tours & Safaris” website was launched today and I’m almost sorry. I’m not sorry for the client as they have been looking forward to it but for myself because I don’t get to work on it anymore.

Truthfully, I guess I never thought about Africa as being someplace I would like to go before but while building this website it was pretty hard not to see how beautiful taking a vacation on an African Safari would be.

I hope that I get to go someday.

I’ve come to learn (as always) alot about dental procedures while building this website! It’s really true that this particular dentist office does it all!

The site consists of about 38 pages of every dental service they perform in Indianapolis…run by and check it out!
